What to put on a receipt
A clear receipt is proof of payment for you and your customer. Include all of these — every one is a field in the generator above:
- Your business details — name, address, phone, and email.
- Who paid — the customer's name.
- A receipt number — so it can be referenced.
- The date paid — when payment was received.
- Itemized items — what the payment was for.
- The amount paid — calculated for you above.
- A payment confirmation note — e.g. "paid in full."
